The event that is closest to our hearts — a day for kids of all ages to play in the dirt, run real equipment, and enjoy family fun for a great cause.

A Day In The Dirt

The Zemba Companies Family Field Day is the event that is closest to our hearts. This event was born from the idea that children of all ages should have the opportunity to play in the dirt. In the early days, we created this event around 4 pieces of small excavating equipment that each child had the opportunity to run with the assistance of our teammates, a small petting zoo, and a straw maze. Over the years, the event has grown to have approximately 8 pieces of equipment, a straw maze, face painting, pig chase competitions, a corn pit, and many other fun activities for kids to enjoy. This project is made possible by the hard work of our teammates who volunteer their time and our corporate sponsors that donate the money to make this event possible. All the proceeds are donated to local organizations and charities.
